Anyone experienced trouble with the Class 43 locos, with Mk3 Couched - at all ? I made up a train of 6 or 7 Mk3 cars, and placed them at Platform 5, Paddington, for a run to Oxford, and forgot about the driver, so had to place one on the train before starting off, on my test run. The train performed well, until it was time to stop for passengers at Acton Mainline, but stop, my train just would NOT !! Finally got it to stop, a few miles on, and checked it out, but the only way to stop it, was to put it into reverse, and apply power, then stop it and turn off power. Brakes did not work, for some reason.
Anyone else had trouble with these Class 43 locos ? Let me know, after you've tried this, please. Thanks a lot, if you can oblige.

Re: East Coast Class 43 Troubles...
there is a problem with the brakes on that one Jim
I did inform DTG and they confirmed to me that they found the same problem when they tried it. That was a month or two ago, so guess work as to when it will be sorted.

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it

Your guess is as good as mine ! It'll probably be when TS2016 comes out, more or less, I guess, for that matter ! I wouldn't be at all surprised. But, it's good, at least, that things ARE being sorted - in some fahsion, At least ! But any way, thanks for the reply. Good to know I WAS right, at least.pjt1974 wrote:there is a problem with the brakes on that one Jim
