Having been a user of WinZip for many years, I wonder if there is a better way to Un Zip Train Sim files.
What is the best method members use?

I use both 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ and WinZip. 7zip is good for unpacking RWP files, a lot quicker than waiting for Utilities to refresh. Only drawback is if you want to uninstall a RWP file, you would have to do it manually.

Well, long before the birth of Trainsim, I was a keen flight sim guy. And throughout ALL the various versions of Flightsim over the years, I ALWAYS and ONLY used "Winzip" to install planes etc.

When I became interested in Trainsim, a friend (who is a real computer genius), almost BULLIED me into starting to use "Winrar" to extract files ! His argument was that unlike "7-zip" and "Winzip", the benefit of having "Winrar" is that it will unzip ANY TYPE OF FILE whatsoever !

I wasnt keen to change software, as Winrar was totally unfamiliar to me.

However, I soon got used to it, and I have to say that my friend was correct...Winrar will unzip ANYTHING and is so versatile compared with its stablemates.

Over to you !
