After spending a number of hours over the past few days acquiring a few missing repaints and fixing a small number of units that would not load with RWTools, I have finally managed to get all the included Free Roam and Standard scenarios that were supplied with the route to load bar one. That being "1G05 7:23 Euston- Wolverhampton(2013)" Standard scenario. After loading I get the message : "Driver 1W05 at Lat 52.47820 Long -1.89998 - Many Failures - see logmate" & "Driver 2857 at Lat 51.91586 Long -0.67720 - Route is blocked" Has anybody else come across this? How does one fix ? in laymans terms please.

Antony.

You need to go into the scenario editor and check the errors mentioned. You may need to alter a time or reposition a service to cure it. Will check the offending scenario when put computer on later today and see what it throws up.

Yes, I did. I had to reroute two trains that were running on the wrong line out of Birmingham, then all loaded OK. I'm only half way through the scenario at the moment but all seems good and the only thing that niggles are the sudden change in speed limits that I have no warning of. Having said that i would like to say well done and thanks to David (photons66) for this route and the Chiltern route.

Got to thank photons66 for this - much better now.
As noted elsewhere, still a few glitches to sort out,
speed limits, kinky track (if only LOL), and a couple
of funny graphic errors, but have managed a nice
run from Euston to MK without having to change
any points. In the previous version, I always landed
up in some dead-end carriage sidings!

I've deleted the route folder and reinstalled (twice) Cleared the cache etc. just in case the program was picking up remnants of the previous version but it's still all manual points . :(
You can easily remove the point levers (lever 1) and replace them with motors by editing the tracks.bin. If you want any help doing it let me know and I'll explain what to do in detail. Lever 2 is a bit more awkward. I can get rid of them but as of yet not replaced them with a motor.

Thanks

Peter
I'd quite like further explanation on changing the levers to motors if possible. thanks in advance.

Can I ask the provider of this route, photons66, to read and respond to the many questions that have been posted as a 'comment' with the UKTS file in the download library please?

One is relating to the track. When in the editor and using the space bar most of the track around Euton shows as 'Missing Texture' and when investigated there is no trackrule shown and all settings are 'unchanged'? I have all the required assets selected (and double checked via RW_Tools) and confirmed the required texture files are present so I am baffled why they are 'missing'?!

Other little goodies centre around South Hampstead. Speed limits and trackrules are in abundance there :o

Not bashing this route at all but would love to be able to drive it without so much swapping of assets etc. etc.. Realise this is WIP but at the moment is 'difficult' to evaluate

Trav ..... :-)

I'll amend the upload to include the required assets; the missing track texture is probably due to one or more missing assets from the required sets.

And please ask questions relating to problems here, it's what it's here for.
Regards.

Dave.

Hi photons66

Do you mind me posting how I removed the point levers or would you like to vet it first?

Thanks

Better idea; make it a patch to upload at UKTS for those that want to remove the point levers.

If you decide to issue a patch for the levers please also include an explanation of how to it manually as I'm personally working with what's now a very altered version of the original WCMLLM v1.1 :o
