Dovetail Games.tv on Sky and BT. They couldn't get onto Virgin because of contact issues. Hosted by the ever dependable Matt, it will broadcast between the hours of 5pm and 10pm when an adult chat channel will take over, again hosted by the ever dependable Matt. Everything from Flight Simulation to Fly Fishing will be covered.

Again, you heard it here first
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

I'm wondering why they say "extreme-ly" and not just "extremely".

There are still some people who do not believe in automatic hyphenation (or still don't know where to activate it, or forget that it is on already thus manually insert hyphens). Same people cannot refrain from altering the text, or line length after typing. And they forget to do Ctrl-F - at the end.

I think the TV line of thoughts has something to it. Their engine driver articles have something of a TV feature to them, so it would be a small step to rant for half an hour on TV instead of type some of these articles. Then they tell you "if you like this engine, press 1 on your remote control and find it in your game next time you start it". Should be an even smoother sales channel.

DTG trying to do what MS promised would be a nice dream. But I always thought that doing Cologne for starters was a bit of a steep climb.

Something like WoR would still be nice but I guess if they invest into software that does anything like that, they will keep it as an in-house development tool to churn out routes at a reduced cost, combining the output of their artists with semi-automatic mid-range scenery.

Being serious for just a moment, that's a good question Sir, what have DTG released in the last year, or, announced recently, that has(d) extreme in the title, or, similar, anything to do with Fishing, or, their Flight Sim content, or Trains, put your thinking caps on I think Dave has struck Gold with this line of thought.......

I thought about that, although I came to the conclusion that it was just a tie in with the Extreme Challenge or whatever it's called.

Even if they are not fully releasing UE4 version until next year they could release early access version sooner. Having early access would give time for content developers to prepare for the new version and would not hinder dlc sales of old version.

..and that is how rumours start. No release date has been mentioned for the Unreal powered version; it could be next year, it could be 2017, it might never happen.
Your post would have been better written as:

"Even though there's no release date set for the UE4 version they could release an early access version sooner. Having early access would give time for content developers to prepare for the new version and would not hinder dlc sales of old version."

I doubt they'd announce such a move though, at least not with such a fanfare aimed at the users of the game, and any pre-release version for developers would be done rather quietly.

It will be something to do with the next gen sim carefully crafted to coincide with the imminent release of TANE in order to divert attention from that. Pure speculation I know but something I thought may happen for a while.

I would not be surprised to hear more from DTG about the UE4 version since there is a new trainsimulator in development that is using the UE4 engine as well.look at this site - it's very interesting!

Whilst the crosstie development may be interesting there's still no *real* content---all the download links point to toolbars rather than something of any use.

"Q?

When will the new simulator be ready?

A.

Right now we don't have a release date for retail release. We are currently preparing a demo for the community to try before we scale up to full retail production."

I'll get excited/interested when there's something to see........

This could be about the big patch that they said they would release around Easter.

Yeah, well, I'm not hoping for that, since recent posts also quoted MartinDTG as saying "the next few months" a patch with new menus would go into public beta...
