Just Trains Easter Sale http://www.justtrains.net/category/easter-sale until the 7th April. Fancy the Class 20s myself.

All the best, Steve

The Class 20 is a nice package made even better with the extra wagons. I was hoping they would have included the
"China Railways SS7C Electric Locomotive + ChengYu Part 2 route" in the sale. Fingers crossed for the next occasion.

Just picked up Mardonshire, I had previously held off because of its fictitious nature, but I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised.

I'm the same. The first thing I checked was if Mardonshire was included, I've held off on this since it came out really. Although U-Bahn Frankfurt is getting close. Decisions, decisions :-?
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Given the choice I would go for the U-Bahn :)
I gave up on Mardonshire :(

Is there such a condition as Easter madness? First I buy the ficticious Mardonshire, then I run my first steam scenario ever.......................and enjoyed it, not sure if I am completely comfortable with developments.

The unfortunate issue with the U-Bahn is needing Munich - Augsburg for the route alone and two other separate units for some of the scenario's. I've got a few days to think about it

I'm tempted to pick up the BR Clans, but since I'm still learning how to manage Steam loco's, I'm not sure how complex the advanced mode is. I notice all scenarios must be driven in advanced mode.
Does this rule out using auto-fireman?

Marsdonshire is great fun, (fun - get it) been round the racetrack (for trains) yet ?

Advanced mode is just like driving a normal steam engine, yes Auto Fireman works and all I operated is cutoff/regulator just like any other steam engine, there things going on in the steam chest, which I'm sort of aware of but you can turn that of and go into legacey mode and it drives just like a normal engine, nice whistle !

It's not recommended as it wasn't designed with autofireman in mind and some unusual behaviour has been reported, but it doesn't rule out autofireman if you would prefer to use that instead of doing it manually. Thankfully, the 5mt and Brit learns from this mistake.

Is that it then, just 6 offerings, a bit of a damp squib Easter Sale, a bit like today's weather.....

I can quite heartily recommend the Class 20 Advanced though, for those who never had the original, with the accompanying Nuclear Flasks and Rail Head Treatment Train, an absolutely excellent package for less than a tenner, you can't go wrong with that, highly, highly recommended.

Of course, if you had the original non-advanced model from a few years ago, then, you can get an upgrade for just £6.99, yep, just £6.99, what a bargain.....

Cheerz. Transport Steve.

Oh back in the day when it still snowed at Easter, all we had were four or five routes to choose from and maybe ten loco's. If you already owned a JT item that was on sale or offer, they used to offer you the equivalent reward points to your account. Some who wonder why we like JT and support them so much, now you know why.

Class 20 is an absolute steal at that price. I'm tempted by Mardonshire but just waiting for any developments on the German stuff on Steam later today (thinking Munich - Augsburg for Frankfurt U Bahn) plus DT's Class 40 might not be anywhere near as advanced as AP's model but still a cracking model.

Class 20 is a lovely loco. Only let-down is that at least two of the included scenarios are broken in one way or another. There are plenty included though, so I can still recommend it!

I'm waiting for the Class 60 to appear in a sale...
