Not to many people interested then John. I just came across a thread about over at RWA.

No interest?
So it would seem, Trev.
Maybe we need to wait for the Trans-Siberian Railway DLC...
Have you tried decelerating the beast hard from high speed? I found that the two sections telescoped together - and stayed that way. Bit of a shock for the driver!
Kind regards,
John M

Re: Anyone for a Russion Loco, VL-80s
Well, when I tried to help someone with Railworks Russian websites and gave them a few URL links they just answered me back, oh, that's no good to me it's all in Russian, so, I thought well I aint going to help anybody in future if that's the blinkin' response, HOWEVER, for those who might be interested, then here are a few sites I obtained a lot of content from, I downloaded basically everything into a separate folder then using Google translate, I typed in the Russian letters and managed to get a lot of translations for items of scenery, a route, some wagons, and a couple of locomotives, whatever you don't want just delete.
Don't forget to Google other countries Railworks Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, etc, etc, and also see if the Russian sites have links to other websites for Railworks stuff, they are a secretive bunch and don't normally advertise where to obtain content from, we have to be sneaky and find it......
Cheerz. Transport Steve.
This is a link to a route called Russia Land v4.7 from last year, it's 550mb, so, a big download - https://yadi.sk/d/OnrgM6yPAyx3a

That would be outstanding! The whole thing would be impossible in one go but a section or two would be nice.JohnM1945 wrote:Maybe we need to wait for the Trans-Siberian Railway DLC...
Best train journey I ever did methinks.

It is fantastic fun to rummage around in other sites around the world. Thanks for the links, I shall certainly grab what is going as freeware and have a good sort through. The simple fact is you can never have enough assets when route building. I can already see some exquisite run-down industrial buildings there. I use Google Chrome which does have a built-in page translator but can be a bit hit and miss on execution.
Quietly beavering away on something and finally getting somewhere

Bing does a good translation if you are using bing of course, right click on the page and select translate with bing.
Russian and Eastern European modellers are up at the top, great sounds, and interesting features such as working brake cylinders, good textures, faded paintwork, grime and rust
Thanks for the links, seen some of them but an odd one I haven't.
