The thing that is putting me off doing the 56 in liveries such as blue is the presence of the cast arrows. As for Marketplace, DG did show some time ago, screenshots of two 56's in both versions of the original Railfreight livery. And I am pretty sure from memory, that one of these was a slightly different model also, insofar as it had recessed marker lights as applicable to 56030 to 56055.

I too await the Railfreight livery with eagerness. I agree that sounds are still the Achilles heel of DTG.................but the sounds are an improvement on the original which DTG could simply have left alone, I am certainly not saying that the sounds come close to anything that AP have produced, merely recognising where an effort has been made to improve on something.jimmyshand wrote:Disagree.

Are these not child objects then Rich, I saw that Matty Wilson painted over them on his repaint of 56101, so, wasn't sure if they could be removed, or, not, and as you strive for perfection on your repaints that may dissaude you, as you suggest.
