Class 47 Variants now on Marketplace

If Armstrong Powerhouse updates their sound pack to support these 47's and the WCMLoS 47...

The class 47 pro soundpack I believe covers the WSR diesel pack so if these new locos are based on that model AP should be able to produce sounds for them. Indeed the supplied tool in the sound pack to apply the sounds to any cl47 should hopefully apply the sounds for you.
As there are plenty of good cl47 reskins available for both kuji and shap 47s I will hold off on these for now.

I too am still waiting for br blue headcode version so I can stop having to use the cl47 with working headcodes that is included in the unmentionable bonus extra stock pack. It looks ok and is passable for ai traffic but could do with updating and is of course no longer available . . .

Has anyone else thought that this model is under powered? I mean if it can't climb out of Torquay up to Torre with load 8 at more than 18mph I think something may be amiss..
and a max of 93mph on Brunels billiard table between Reading and Paddington.. hmm...

Certainly seems good value at £2.49 Richard. It's a looker (IKB) and i like the animation of the engine shutters but I just wished it had a bit more get up and go!

The early Rail Simulator model had some nice re-skins I always enjoyed seing 'George Jackson Churchward' in the 70's then it became G.J.Churchward and I believe it was one of the celebrity GW150 repaints.

I seem to remember some child object problems with roof fans after a game upgrade?

You're right Graham - from memory, the problems arose as a result of one of the yearly upgrades (the upgrade to Railworks 3, I think) and caused some diesel locos to have their cooling fans perched over the roof, whilst steamers had their footplate crew dangling in mid-air.

Think there was a 47 555 'The Commonwealth Spirit' that I spotted at Plymouth in the early 80's and someone did a reskin of that loco too..

I only purchased the Large Logo Highland Rail Class 47, so, I'm unlikely to drive it in Glorious Devon, so, I cannot help you with the physics issue, sorry......

And yes, these Highland Rail locos are number editable, however, i'm looking for the list of numbers in the bin file as DTG haven't got a clue as regards depot allocations for this locomotive Class, all those I've plonked on the tracks so far were based at Crewe, Bristol Bath Road and Old Oak Common, is this yet another howler similar to the Peak debacle by DTG, what a bunch......

That has been through my mind already Graham, as strictly speaking the model, with it's later layout of ETH equipment, is only strictly correct for 628 (albeit minus buffer beam fairings ).

Obviously IKB cant be renumbered in the editor. I hope 47623 can be however, as this particular duff was never allocated to Scotland, let alone Inverness and never even carried large logo blue.

And before anyone suggests that I buy it and find out, not a chance at that price.

I'm not aware that there was ever a fix for ths probelm. I just replaced the stock that had the problem with more recent versions that didn't.
