Dynamic Station Nameplate

Post by Halbers »

Many Thanks Glenn for your Station Nameplate file UKTS 33968

This is very welcomed. I was hoping that this glaring ommission in the default assets would have been corrected when TS2014 was updated to TS2015.

Everybody, whatever part of the country, whatever time they are modelling includes at least one station and the nameplate is too prominent an object to be missed.

Only available in that style? Is it an easy thing to setup for other platform sign styles?

Hello, I downloaded this yesterday and it won't let me install it. I've got it as a 7.z file. I'm a little bit puzzled as to how to install it.
Could you please help me on this?

Nice to see someone has finally made dynamic name plates :D

One thing that the maker did not make clear in the notes is that the object is linked to the track, therefore to place it you need to place the cursor near the track and you will see the familiar orange cube with the broad yellow line to the sign when it is created.

I can also confirm the note in the read-me file that when placed in position when the station name is added nothing appears on the sign, but the text is shown if you exit and reload the route.
