Interesting...

Does anyone have this - is it a true electro-diesel ala the BR Cl73?

It's quite a nice addon and nice fun to use.

It is similar to a Class 73. But the Diesel engine is the prime mover, and 3rd rail only used into Grand Central i believe.

Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.

Fair enough - I was wondering how the two power systems are implemented in game? It appears to be a two-loco consist, is one electric the other diesel?

Both in the same locomotive. Above the reverser, is a lever to change mode. Towards you to put it in Electric, Away to put into diesel mode which has 4 settings. Can be done on the move as well. Can also be changed from the cab car end as well to.

If want can get some screens later on to show it.

Most welcome of course. It is interesting and fun to use. It is pretty similar to the P42DC Genesis for that Dual mode one. If any other questions, be free to ask.

There is a bug in the FL9 when in Diesel mode. After running at full throttle when you bring the power back to idle the second loco is still revving its head off. I found by accident that when you move into the second cab the motor sound will go back to idle. I sent a email to DTG about this at 8-57UT and had a reply by 9-11UT. They said that they would investigate the issue but could be some time as the tech team are working on TS2016.

BTW I tried one of the scenarios that comes with it and started in electric mode, and after a while heard this funny noise and hadn't realized that it had automatically changed from electric mode to diesel mode.
