Re: DTG Release: EMD GP30
Didnt realise dovetail were going to release these. I have the orginal gp30 packs from dtm and have been hoping they would be re-released as the old locos are still great but could do with a cab and sound makeover. The orginal pack came with many liveries so hopefully these liveries will follow on marketplace!

hi, ...
Somehow, most locomotives all look the same.
You own a then all you have. Very cheap the whole American locomotive program. Most are rolling cube.

Yes, but you don't have to use it. The video above annoyed me a bit, as the reviewer makes a big deal of what I regard as minor defects that won't be much noticed in practice, but in his Steam review only mentions in passing that the sounds are very good. I think most people would rate good sounds as outweighing the existence of a spurious cab view.Juanillo99 wrote:It is incomprehensible. 'B' units have a cabview.
All simulations are a simplification of reality and contain mistakes. It's damaging to the reputation of the simulation, the moral of developers and our own enjoyment if we don't keep a sense of balance.

I have to agree with IronBidder on this one -- being overly critical about minor glitches that are avoidable are damaging. Another thread on the main Steam forums has some complaints about the TrackIR not showing correctly when you stick your head through the side of the cab instead of using the "head out of Cab" view... I mean really people ... Let's get real.
