As always, what's about the model, the sound and the cab?

I love the ICE-TD since it is possible to run it on non-eletrified tracks. :)

My top four issues with this one is:
1. It sound like a steam loco in the cab. "Steam puffing"*/"Shots of steam"* in the cab all the time when i drive. When standing still i can live with it, but at 160 km/h it´s annoying to hear those loud puffings all the time.
2. It´s hard to drive slow, let´s say 40 Km/h since the throttle accererate the train at 2-4%.
3. The brakes are too sensitive, it brakes hard at it´s lowest setting and thus prone to Wheel Slip if you add more brake.
4. In the ICE-T you can really see the tilting from within the cab, but in the ICE-TD i cannot see the tilting.

* I dont know the correct word for air puffings from hoses on a train...

Apart from that, i am happy and hope to see a hotfix in a near future. :)

EDIT: The LZB don´t work as expected, it shows the wrong speeds in the cab. For example, if i am running at 200 Km/h and the LZB warns me for a speed change i still see 200 Km/h in the cab while the HUD shows 160 Km/h. (160 Km/h is the correct value to show in the cab in this case. Tested on Hamburg-Hanover and Berlin-Wittenberg.)

Watch the horizon rather than the cab interior, the camera should tilt with the cab and the exterior body

Yes, you are correct. I did drive it again and noticed exactly what you are saying. :)

I guess i am too use with the ICE-T´s tilting and was expecting that, iow that the interior tilts as well. Now i like the tilting in the ICE-TD better that the tilting in the ICE-T since it´s more subtle.

I wonder if it is like the 411 ICE T which sometimes tilts the wrong way going around a curve.

Apparently the tilt on this is much more subtle, and posters on Railsim.de seem to think that British engine sounds have been used. At the moment I am inclined to wait for the sales, if only there were a German AP, but no doubt some sort of fix will appear from the community.

That'll be a sale item then, I'm sure our German friends will sort the thing out.

Can it be? They finally got the tilt funktion right!

All that is needed to compute the relative direction of the sum of gravitational and lateral, centripical force and you have the tilt angle. Passengers are most comfortable, when the direction of this relative force coincides with a direction perpendicular to the floor. No lateral forces to speak of.

I second the earlier comments on leaky pneumatics, lower throttle settings and too hard train brakes.

The odd thing is that those leaky pneumatics disappear if i create a scenario on the Berlin - Wittenberg route that starts at Berlin Main station. If i start from Wittenberg they are there...
