I might have to start using the 218 a bit more now instead of just the 232.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Guys, is the 218 available from RailTraction (fopixtrains) the same as that available via DTG? Or are they different products?

The version I have is from RailTraction and is the BR218-400 v0.9.8.5 Is there a more recent version than this? Is the DTG version based on this model?

Thanks.

hi, ...

Thanks Guy's.

The BR218 engine of DTG is not the same as the locomotive of Rail Traction.
These are two different Producer and models.

The Rail Traction BR218 is better than that of DTG according to my feelings.
She has also been a good Br218 originalsound in the basic version.

The DTG is probably a commissioned work and does not come from DTG directly.
She use the br232 Sound..is not real.

For the Rail Traction BR218 there are three skin packages from me.
In Moment work on the Smog ...for br218 RT.

Hmm, I'm having a problem registering on the website to open an account to enable me to download this upgrade, all was going well until I came to the question who is the German Chancellor, and having input Angela Merkel numerous times, it keeps rejecting it, I've done it with a space and without spaces, so, I'm stumped now......Can this soundpack be put on the Railsim.de website which I have an account for already, please????

The website asks for 'Nachname' which is her last name - just Merkel.

That worked for me.

Do you plan to upgrade the DTG BR218 to your sound set also?
Or should one simply alias DTG's 218 to Fopix's?

hi, ...
I do not plan anything for the DTG BR218. Neither a Reskin still a sound mix.
Since I already own the Rail Traction BR218 and also as a model better think I'm going to not buy this series a second time.
Displays the job orderworker should provide the sound clips. Because I do not believe that the DTG locomotive was built by British 3D artists. :D

Yes, thank you Tim, someone else has pointed that out to me as well, I obviously don't have the knack of registering properly on these German sites....
