You have used the forbidden letters!

Anyway I will stick with the DT version as I've also bought the SSS soundpack for it.

Only £3.99 via Marketplace. I suddenly feel DTG might be about to dump a heap of unreleased ex-IH* models with little to no modification at rockbottom prices (+VAT)
If only all problems on the big railway could simply be TAB'd past...

They'll get no protest from me if that's what they decide to do. This looks a good looking loco, will wait on opinions but bear in mind I only have the DT version, not any JT versions (I know there's is only 2-6-0).

So if there's no/not much [delete as applicable] change from 'the original', supposing one has 'the original' [hand up], then is there any point buying this new version?

Errrr, well, if this is the original loco, then, no, Dave, there isn't any point, unless you're feeling particularly generous and stupidly rich and want to give DTG some dosh for nothing, in which case can you lend me a tenner, please.

I have two BR 4MT 4-6-0 from two other sources and I cannot see the point in buying a third one from DTG. When I started in this game a few years back we had a Brit and a 9F as the only standards available for purchase. Now we have numerous duplications of the same locomotives with more on the way! The BR 3MT is now the only one missing and the only one that has my future interest. Perhaps when SSS get The Stainmore released the 3MT's will magically appear?

Regards, John.

In answer to duplication, have modellers of OO gauge only ever had one choice of manufacturer for a specific class or loco?

Variety is high in the DLC especially for us lucky UK based enthusiasts, but competition is what drives those to succeed more and push beyond perceived boundaries in the pursuit of sales.

Why else do you think Digital traction lowered the price of their 4MT add-ons permanently to £3.99 last night, it's a business decision based on the competition.
