That will change.

Since there are wires at City Thameslink, will the third rail be removed at Farringdon, and this station will become the new electric changeover?

On a side note, who will buy the EWS 66 2.0 and FCC 319 standalone DLCs when they already have the MML route, just for scenarios to function properly?

They won't have to, they can swap them out for the ones that come with the DLC.

No, not exactly.
Both Farringdon and City Thameslink will be both 3rd rail and OHLE, so that southbound trains will switch over at Farringdon, and northbound trains at City Thameslink.

Danny is working on it, very slowly, but surely.
You can be assured that a quite thread does not mean it has been abandoned.

Here are two shots from about 2 weeks ago of Beckenham Junction and area:

really sorry real life has gotten in the way, and i'm only doing this in my own time, so its not going to be the fastest project at the moment. Lots of things in own time that also get in the way, so can't always get the time to put work in to the route. I'm hoping that i can get this done sooner rather than later, really sorry for taking longer than I had hoped, but its not a case of me taking time on purpose though, just other things are in the way it seems atm.

PS - xguerra - thank you for posting those :)

Danny,

Take your time so that it can become great! :-)

I love your merged South London to Brighton route and the route merge which you are currently working on, will be THE main reason for me to eventually buy the MML! :-)

(So, your spare-time project is going to make your employer a few bucks! ;-) )

Cheers,

You can get 22% off the MML London Bedford Route until 4pm this afternoon (Monday 13th April) at Green Man Gaming. I didn't have this route so purchased it this morning using the voucher code: SAVE22-OVERHO-LIDAYS and it reduced to £19.50 so I can confirm that it does work.
