Re: FGW Virtual Company
a few users have already had warnings about rude comments, negativity or sarcasm in this thread. One user has a forum holiday to think about his rudeness. If you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all!
There is no need for all the rude comments etc and it will stop now.

Re: FGW Virtual Company
A yes from me; another Great Westerrner with all the routes, and working on extending the Riviera Line. Very interesting idea with a lot of potential. I'd be happy to do some bespoke scenarios for the project.
I extended the Riviera to Honiton, Exmouth, Copplestone and Bere Alson via Plymouth over 2014 (took months). All lovely but I didn't follow the backup mantra, did I? One PC disaster later and I'm having to start again. Can you believe it? Not sure I can. I'm currently back in Exmouth.

Keep up the good work, I know that Digital Traction are extending the Riviera Line Modern down to Plymouth, and plan to release it at some stage.

Re: FGW Virtual Company
Hello all.
Sorry for the lack of updates recently.
Following a quick poll to see who was interested in the Virtual Great Western TOC, we have had a lot of great replies and enthusiasm, which is great too see!
Now I am looking for the following:
Scenario Creators - To help come up with scenarios for the Virtual TOC
Managers - To help me assign people to scenarios and aid in the overall running of the Virtual TOC
If you would be interested in any of these currently roles on a voluntary basis, then please do let me know.
We currently have the following routes for Great Western
London to Oxford/Didcot/Reading
Bristol to Avonmouth inc Bristol Parkway
Bristol to Taunton/Exeter St Davids
Exeter St Davids to Newton Abbot/Paignton
I believe there is also a few more freeware routes around as well which could also be used.
If any other users know these routes please do post them onto this thread(with link if possible)

D P simulation have done an excellent Exeter to Barnstaple (http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/routes.html). I'm happy to do some scenarios; the more crowded and complicated the better!

I'd like to be a part of the driver crew, but I've done a lot of Scenario's for TS, so I'm happy to supply a few for the west country ones too. Nothing fictional, real life schedules and AI etc
Re: FGW Virtual Company
The route is hosted on the DP Simulation site but the author is named as Devon Labuschagne so all credit to him and the others involved.larch wrote:D P simulation have done an excellent Exeter to Barnstaple.....

Re: FGW Virtual Company
What the plan is, to start of with several scenarios at a range of skill levels.
Therefore we then have enough for people to complete for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
Once there is plenty of scenarios, we can start sorting out drivers.

But as I know people like to keep updated I thought I had better post something.
Also I have had private messages from two users, however due to being a new user I can't view them!
Please could let me know who you are and want you wanted to talk to me about!
