RW tools isn't showing any missing bridges...that's the odd thing
This post is worth what you paid for it.

Forgive my ignorance, but when the installation instruction tells you to have the 'Use Folder Names' ticked what is it actually referring to?

In essence it means "make sure you retain the correct directory structure"---some operating systems/archive managers allow you to copy files out from within a folder 'tree' but will automatically preserve the tree 'structure'. If you just drag and drop or copy the 'Contents' and 'Assets' folders from within the downloaded "UKTS_33676_ChilternMainline.zip" file using Windows own .zip routine you'll be fineCrundles wrote:Forgive my ignorance, but when the installation instruction tells you to have the 'Use Folder Names' ticked what is it actually referring to?

I've had a similar problem when using lower graphic resolution settings - it took me ages to 'see' correctly-installed signals on the Falmouth Branch, and I've had 'missing' bridges for the same reason at Keswick on the Penrith-Cockermouth route.RW tools isn't showing any missing bridges...that's the odd thing

Ah, I see. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be appearing in my game despite doing exactly that a couple of times. Did it come up automatically when you guys installed it?gptech wrote: In essence it means "make sure you retain the correct directory structure"---some operating systems/archive managers allow you to copy files out from within a folder 'tree' but will automatically preserve the tree 'structure'. It did for me; just where (and how) are you looking for it?Crundles wrote:Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be appearing in my game despite doing exactly that a couple of times. Did it come up automatically when you guys installed it?

Dear David, fantastic route especially as it is my local line but suddenly the tunnel outside Marylebone has disappeared with the street above floating.
I have tried everything to get it back any ideas? I have set everything to max and reloaded everything but still the tunnel has gone!
Many many thanks for all your brilliant work,
best wishes

Absolutely love this route. I didn't know much about the Chiltern Main Line before I downloaded this, but I feel I know it really well now and aim to travel on it for real in the next month. I think the one thing that would make it truly stunning would be tunnel occlusions. This is particularly noticeable on the exit from London. Had a go at occluding them for my own use, but couldn't work out how to do them....even by looking at the route building forum on here which has some advice on doing them.

@ K2rover
Have you had a look at the 2 tunnel occlusion tutorials on Darren Porter's blogsite, these might help you and they're easy to understand.

This truly is a great route but I am having a major problem with it. Firstly I couldn't get the Class 168 to work properly and the 165 is invisible despite following all the install instructions etc. but I gave up with that and simply forced it to use the missing textures from the XC/fgw version until I get round to sorting it out.
More importantly, I cant create or edit scenarios for this route as It will seemingly allow me to create a new scenario but the menu will disappear but the 'settings' and 'community' buttons at the top right of the screen remain and it sits there indefinitely. If I try to create a scenario through the route editor and then scenario editor all is fine until I try and save it. Then I get a crash dump file and it closes.
All my other routes work fine and are not affected.
I have tried all the usual fixes such as re-installing the route and other associated DLC and clearing the blueprints cache but with no success. It still crashes the moment I hit save.
Hope someone has some ideas...

I have the same menu disappearing problem at the moment when I try creating a new freeroam scenario for the test track within the ts2015 menu system. Not figured out why yet but it probably means it is not caused by the route itself.

Yes, i have seen posts from people having that problem and originally I had the same issue with the WCML London - B'ham route (it crashed completely when I tried to create any scenario from the menu but not from the editor) but that seems to have sorted itself out.
It crashes immediately when the save button is clicked leading me to believe its something relatively basic. I will have a look for 'read only' directories and see if that helps.

I seem to have fixed the issue - this problem happened on v48.0a and I have now updated the game to v50.5a and so far there seems to be no problem.
