For some reason the loco numbers on the DTG Class 27 are Grey instead of White.
I have the BR Blue pack installed and those numbers are also Grey.
By comparison the DTG 27 & 33/1
Anyone know why the numbers look strange?
Thanks
Peter

At a guess because the number textures are grey--why that should be I have no idea but your image also shows the BR crest as *wrong*
Do you have the .ap archive extracted?--extracted files will take precedence over those in the archive so as a quick experiment--if you do have the contents extracted--try cutting the ..\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class_27\Default\Engine\textures folder out of the game and pasting it somewhere safe.
This will force the use of the as supplied textures, so if all is well after that you just need to work out whether any files in that textures folder are still needed, and if so be selective with what you put back.

Do you have TSX turned off (or dynamic lightning or whatever they have decided to call it this week) This can cause certain things to be unexpected or odd colours and does seem to effect fonts and numbering.

Just tried that with an *interesting* outcome---one side of the loco displayed fine but the other had grey numbers and a ropey looking BR crest!!ightenhill wrote:Do you have TSX turned off (or dynamic lightning or whatever they have decided to call it this week) This can cause certain things to be unexpected or odd colours and does seem to effect fonts and numbering.
That would definitely seem to be the cause of the problem Peter is having though, particularly when looking at his screenshots again which do look a bit bright, the 27 being an odd shade of green too.

The colour cast across both images looks, to me anyway, rather cartoonish, like they've been edited and the hue parameter wound up to maximum.gptech wrote: That would definitely seem to be the cause of the problem Peter is having though, particularly when looking at his screenshots again which do look a bit bright, the 27 being an odd shade of green too.
As to the anomaly appearing when TSX is disabled, I'd not be at all surprised if it was never tested this way, particularly considering its origins. I wonder if any other models with the same lineage exhibit this trait?

I looked for the TSX as I remembered it from a previous post but I could not find it in the menu.
I will try the Dynamic Lighting tonight.
- Now I know what they call the TSX.
Thank you.

It's something that also appears on the old Kuju default models, it's just the legacy graphics not being able to display some of the newer shaders properly.Wikkus wrote:I wonder if any other models with the same lineage exhibit this trait?
Expanding the TS wagon fleet.
