Worth noting that the 33% means it is still more than the usual £11.99, I'm not saying it's not worth it - they are fine looking and feature packed - just letting folks know.

Released at last! :D

To those wondering on price..
As we have stated on Facebook
It's £18 because it's 3 locos in multiple liveries with every feature of every member of all 3 classes.. we decided to release it this way rather than 3 x £11.99 locos + 9 x £2.99 market place reskins. We thought £18 was better than £62.88? If it fails due to price we can go to 1 loco, 1 livery and £11.99 in future
If it proves that people won't pay more than £11.99, irrelevant of the quantity of content, then we'll go back to a single loco, 1-2 liveries in future - I personally thought it was better to do it all in one bumper pack but we'll see how people vote with their wallets.

The sale price is due to the impending Christmas sale * - we decided it would be unfair to charge full price for a few days and then have it drop, so the price reduction has come early. It wasn't planned this way and whether Victory Works can survive it, well I guess we'll see.

* Note: I am only aware of the reduction on THIS loco, please do not start hypothesising about all DLC being 33% off etc, that information is only known by DTG. I only know about THIS loco :)

I hope the discount will attract much more buyer and Victory Works and the will to build and offer such wounderful locos will survive the discount. I am very happy with the one pack decision. I understand that karma99 is not very happy with the discount because there is a lot of his work inside the pack.

They are lovely locomotives, Been driving about SLL in C150 (L150) with a few coaches very nice locomotive. Shall get some scenarios done for various routes including put some on Workshop.

Edit: Doing it as bumper pack for only £18 or currently £12.05 is great value for money.

Just goes to show you Pete you can't please anyone. In most likely case the comments are the usual kneejerk reaction to prices yet I'm quite sure they haven't actually bothered to see what is included with the pack.

Well done on getting it finished Pete, looks like another labour of love and a excellent one at that. I'll be picking it up in the future, X-mas is currently making butterflies out of the wallet and my fridge freezer just packed up :( X-mas food replacement + repair bill incoming.

Have been so excited about these, my favourite steam loco!!

will definitely purchase when I am home from work, would be happy to pay the full price even if they were not on an offer, as I know Victory Works deserves every penny for all the hard work they must carry out when creating such brilliant add-ons.

Many thanks VW from a very happy fan!

Seems like a good offer to me has plenty of stock with it. Normally it's the obligatory Mk1 coaches. :D

Well I bought it the moment I spotted the announcement, and would have bought it for full price too!

I'm more than happy to pay for quality and perfectly understand the rationale for the higher price. Hey, JT also charges more, and people buy there locos too.

I'm looking forward to trying out this new loco.

Congratulations,

--Tim :-)

A no- brainer for me and I have just finished downloading these.
As with others, I'm always happy to pay for quality and am looking forward to exploring these at length.

Just as a point of interest, Steam says in the spiel, 'Download size: 628mb'.
My actual download size was given by Steam as 272.3mb.

It's only important for me as I don't have unlimited download with my ISP, so I have to keep an eye on download size. Recent Apple IOS8 updates have used up great chunks of my quota (with no obvious benefit).

I totally agree with you Nick.

Victoryworks loco's are a very high standard and work out of the box.

I think other company's will have to get things right as he has set a new standard. At least I don't have to email him and say the boiler sound blowing off is not there, and pressure gauges are out of sync when
installed from new.

I would have paid more that 18 quid for these, you can buy without a review safely for his loco's.
Again brilliant

Please can I ask some kind soul to post some shots of the included freight stock?

The quality of the locos is a given for me and though I am not normally a steam fan as such, I am quite interested in the wagons (milk siphons and toad brake in particular). These are what may make a purchase happen sooner rather than later (plus the 33% discount of course :) ).

Thanks in advance,

EDIT: To quote Basil Fawlty, "Not necessary!". Full details in the manual, available here:
