This may be just a problem with my install, but when checking a route the list of missing assets (as in previous versions) gives the classification of such assets; Road, Loft, Track, Scenery etc.
However, when clicking the button to remove duplicates from the list this information disappears, making replacing the assets a little bit problematical.
Has anybody else seen this?

Hi Gary,

The screen 'Substitute for a missing Asset' gives a set of 'radio buttons' in which you can choose if the asset in question is Scenery/Loft/Road or Track item, however this is not automatic and it is up to the user to choose the type of item.

The type of item appears in the missing item list, but has never appeared after you click the 'Remove duplicates' from list because this code checks each line from the one above it and removes it if it is a duplicate - as the text in the tile column also gives the tile name the item should be located on, then the code would not work as each tile reference can differ from the next one.

I don't think this was ever different? Certainly I have not changed the method of 'Remove duplicates' for a long time.

Hi Mike, thanks for getting back to me.
I should have posted images to start with, so here goes:

Checking a route for missing assets (North Clyde Line in this case) then clicking the "Remove duplicates from list" button gives this in versions up to and including 6.0.12

Image

doing the same in version 6.0.20 gives

This has been with the update to 6.0.20, not the full version which I haven't tried but will do so.

The full version should be identical to the updated version.

I have checked here with the North Clyde (shows a lot missing because I have not unpacked WCML .ap file, but they show up correctly, this is latest v6.0.20

So I have no idea why they don't show on yours.

The problem is not that they don't show Mike, but that the information regarding what type of asset they are disappears when removing duplicates from the list; which never happened with earlier versions. It's not a huge problem, dropping back a version gets round it.

I will check if I have the code for an older version and see if I can work out why it changed.

OK, I have rewritten the code to include the 2nd column as well. I will upload v6.0.21 asap. Please advise if any problems found.
