Hatchet Hill is flawed, to say the least. There is a nasty echo on the track sound but that can be cured by a UKTS download. The biggest problem is the scenarios are all broken because the wagons were changed at some stage without their numbers being changed within the couple/uncouple instructions. It's not a big job to fix in the scenario editor but it hasn't been by DTG. IS it worth getting? I wouldn't recommend it unless it's dirt cheap in a sale. It's very basic in its operation (short, slow there and back again), the potential for additional scenarios is seriously limited and with the flaws it's almost unusable.

I was thinking of getting the TS2015 Standard Edition as there are 2 routes included I don't have. Am I right in thinking that will that just add the extra routes to my existing install?

Thx

Thanks, think I'll give it a miss then.

Does anyone think there may be some last day price adjustments (downwards of course) to the current Steam offers?

Did this ever happen in previous Thanksgiving Sales???

I am watching closely on a couple of routes - and may be tempted in again before this ends

The main game has been further reduced this evening for 48hrs. (Now £3.74 for standard and £5.24 for steam edition). None of the DLC appears to have been reduced further. So I'm going to say you won't see any more reductions to DLC in this sale. The Xmas steam sale is just around the corner. I expect that sale to start around the 18th/19th December.

So happy I waited and picked up the WHL for half price, a very nice piece of work. And fitting (though strictly unprofessional) that the driver of the oil tanker train was sipping a nice single malt during the last half of that 2-part scenario. (Probably why I failed it!)

I joined in the sale and picked up Liverpool to Manchester, the 9F, the Clan and the Peak.

Though Liverpool to Manchester is not set in my ideal time period, I set up a gorgeous quick drive consist - DT Class 40 (BR blue split box) and half a dozen blue/grey Mk 1s and raved into the joy of exquisite thrash through the tunnels to Edge Hill. Overall a very pleasant drive. I like the route, just wish it was set about 30 years earlier.

Happy Chr... nah, I won't try and offend minorities...

East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough Route Add-On showing 85% ( £3.49) on DLC Page, but when in cart, it's showing 50% ( £12.49 )

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks

If you buy the entire TS2015 Standard Edition package, it costs £3.49 and includes ECML London to Peterborough and other DLC you may or may not have. Don't look to purchase the route on its own, buy the Standard Edition of TS2015 and it will add any DLC items you don't have, being ECML-S at a minimum.

Steam is trying to do you a favour and save you £9

OK - Tempted again

Was not looking at the ECML-S, and not really interested in US/GER items, but at £3.74 has to be a bargain.
Also succumbed to Falmouth + Bristol-Exeter at £5.99 each.

Lots of new goodies to keep me out of mischief over the winter months.

That's definitely it ........................unless they do something really crazy in the next 60 minutes !!!!!

All these 'little' £1.99 trains keep wooing at me, I'm trying my hardest to resist, but it's getting troublesome. I'm gambling that the West Highland won't be more expensive in the winter/Xmas Steam Sale.

Gotta love this time of year, clearing up ridiculous amounts of DLC for cheap.

Picked up Victory Works Q1 and 48xx, the West Highland Line and the LNER B1 reskin from the Marketplace. Pleased to say I'm impressed by all, didn't even realize they put the proper steam chest simulation in the B1!!!
