Anybody knows how the vR products are delivered? They have their own downloads? And do they provide the latest vR's version?

According to the German forum, the VR add-ons come in JT installers and there doesn't seem to be any option for updates. They install into the normal folders.

Ok, thanks. If I can't be sure they provide the latest version, it's a no go for me...

They say that they are the latest versions, but that there is no provision for further updates should they happen. For the prices being charged, and the fact that they are older add-ons most people there aren't unduly concerned. I would imagine that for VR it will introduce more people to the quality of it's products and hence will be worthwhile for them.

How does this work with a steam account? If I update the core game I don't want it to install a separate version.

You get a code that you add to Steam and it becomes part of your Steam account. Nothing to worry about there :)

Having got the VR DB Class 111 Regio Expert-Line it was interesting to see it was sold via Just Trains.
The PDF, (Manual), file which come with the package is dated 26/11/2012 & the PDF file for the Dosto which I bought directly from VR is dated 27/12/2012.
On the VR website it says Release date Sep 10, 2012

Already had the VR DB Class 111 Dosto Expert-Line so £3.99 for some coaches is not bad but not worth full price when it just duplicates the locos.

So it is sold via JT, Peter? You actually download the package from JT using some activation code they give you or...?

I would be interested in the BR111 Regio as well, but not sure I want any package/installer from Get Games directly. If it was from JT, I trust it would be the latest version and all would be OK...

If they are vR's expert line ones (and I dont think there were ever any other versions released) then yes, they are...

I bought the Reggio version and indeed the DVT can be driven, thanks for the advice.

I have yet to find out if it will work with another loco other than the BR111.
