Of course, we'll have to wait and see how well they will do the implementation. But at the very least your patch must have shown to them that TrackIR support is very much wanted by the community!
And regarding "third party controller support", this sounds interesting as well. I wonder if this will help to make RailDriver work better, and to make other joysticks work better without the need for Havner's standalone utility.
