Prob on GEML

Post by Bradforth »

Hi all
Tried out TS 2015 on my laptop to see what its like, On the GEML route Braintree Branch I get people walking off the platform on to the track at the Liverpool Street Station. As anyone else noticed this or is it just on my installation, didn't get this on TS 2014.

Regards,
Pete.

It's a known problem, along with floating or buried passengers but can be lessened a lot.
See the thread at http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... passengers for views/insights/tips on it's cause and fixes.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, but I still can't seem to solve the problem with passengers walking on to the line in TS 2015, tried TS 2014 on the same scenario and there are no passengers on the platform that is why I don't have this prob. Somehow I need to delete the passengers altogether is there a way of doing this.

Regards,
Pete.

Both I and the community was hoping this would be fixed with TS2015 but it appears not to be the case as I have noticed the same in London to Brighton. I will email TS Support with a reminder, I suggest you do the same.

Yes I'm seeing the same thing on geml, also on the ecml too, can't remember which route it was now but on one scenario the passengers were wondering way off down that tracks and partly entering a tunnel before turning round and coming back!

I have the same problem, passengers walking through walls, over the track, every where they should not be, can we turn the passengers off from appearing or reduce there numbers?.

Hi all,
Just sent a polite but stern email to DTG about this problem, if anyone else is experiencing this issue could I please ask you to reply to this post and also email DTG support, the more they are made aware of this problem then perhaps something may be done.
While I have a lot of admiration and respect to forum members who seem to sort out problems with TS which I for one is extremely grateful, I also think that DTG should also take some responsibility for products which they put on sale.

If you think I may be overreacting then I ask you to consider what other products would you purchase with problems in them and not complain.
I sat down last night and worked out how much I had spent on this sim, I nearly gave myself a coronary I'm sure that other members have had a similar experience.

Regards,
Pete.

I sent them an email, again on this matter, at the weekend. No reply as yet but it's still early days.
