Because some of our community have reported issues with today’s TS2015.2 patch we have decided to withdraw the patch and revert back to the previous version (TS2015.1).

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you up to date on the reasons behind the withdrawal of the patch and when you can expect to receive a satisfactory update. Investigations are currently ongoing.

I only downloaded the update a couple of days ago and wish I'd backed up TS2014 before doing so, because TS2014 ran almost without ever a stutter on my rig with the sliders maxed out, but since the update my framerate has dropped considerably and I need to pull those sliders back to reduce stutter (to at most medium for some routes), which for a good spec rig less than a year old is not good.

I'm running Widows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with SP1, AMD FX(tm)-6300 six-core 3.5Ghz processor with 8Gb RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX660 Graphics Card with the latest driver, version 9.18.13.4411.

I've tried Dave Dewhurst's Silverlining.override file edit but without success.

Here are three screenshots taken at Garmisch-Partenkirchen showing the mountains before the edit with Dynamic Clouds on and off, and after the edit with DC off.

I notice from a recent post that the patch issued today has been withdrawn pending further investigation. I would venture to say that maybe TS2015 should be withdrawn pending further investigation as so many of us are experiencing similar problems, with a rollback to the tried-and-reasonably-well-tested TS2014 while the problems are ironed out.

Regards,

Phil.

If every game developer withdrew there games because lots of people were having problems with them there would be no games on the market. Just go and visit any game forum. And as for the lots of people having problems with TS2015, every game is the same.

Wonder if anyone else is experiencing sound dropouts since ts2015 was released, currently having those symptoms with the mtu pro & class 360/444/450 soundpacks, with the mtu the brake apply/release sounds don't play intermittently, same goes for the wiper sounds on the class 360 (not tested the 444/450 yet). Have contacted ap about it but I don't recall having these intermittent sound dropouts with ts2014.

Well, if that's the graphics card driver you've listed as being the latest version, I'm curious as to where you got the version number. The latest Nvidia GeForce drivers are 344.16, released on 23 September.

Each individual installed component of the drivers package (which is 344.16) such as PhysX, 3D Vision etc has its own number which currently begins 9.xx.xx.xxx as opposed to the overall number.

These mini dumps mentioned in the patch fix list, can we read these dumps? The last time I tried opening one in notepad it appeared to be a binary file.

Curious. None of my version numbers begin 9.xx etc although they all exhibit 344.16 somewhere in their reference, eg 6.14.13.4416. Currently have a 980 installed with fresh drivers as of yesterday.

344.16 drivers are for the new 900 series cards only. 344.11 are the latest drivers for all other recent cards.

I am using the latest driver, version 344.11, dated 13/09/14, and installed on 05/10/14. The version quoted above came straight from Control Panel/System and Security/System, then from the left of the screen selected Device Managers/Display Adapters/NVidia GeForce GTX660 which opens the dialog box below.

Open up Geforce Experience and that tells you what driver version you have, and you can also check if you have the latest driver version.
