Looks as if there is a problem with the download not being made available to some people. I'm waiting on a reply from the store admin, so have suspended sales until it's fixed. Don't panic if you have the problem, once it's fixed you should be able to download.

That is cracking value for money Gordon, I'm just checking because of the word 'extra'but these are stand alone items or do they require a previous pack also?

Edit:And now I shall learn to read an OP fully before replying

Yup, stand alone they are Mr Deltic, though for some of the Quickdrives you do need the original P3's from Making Tracks.

Looks as if the downloads are now working. Not heard from the admin so going to check.

Hi Gordon
This is what I am getting when I am on the 'LMS P3 "Stanier" Extras' link (http://matrixtrains.myminto.com/product ... xtras.aspx) :

'Unfortunately, this item is temporarily sold out.'

So still not working, at least not for all :(

Jos
'Why is it that the railway station is so far away from the village?'
The local pauses for a while, then replies:
'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'

Jos the "this item is temporarily sold out" message is because I have suspended sales. It's not due to the initial problem. Seems to be working OK now but I'm waiting on the store admin to give the thumbs up, before making it available again. Should be within the hour.

OK it's available again. Problem was a caching issue in Internet Explorer, were on returning from PayPal site to MatrixTrains, IE was using a cached page instead of the updated one, so "DownloadCenter" was not appearing on the left menu. The store software is supposed to force a refresh, but this seems not to have worked in IE. All fixed now. I think CTRL+F5 forces a refresh in IE.

Had a similar problem in Chrome, but a refresh cured it as well.

There are a few potential re-skins for the Inspection saloon as well. Blue/Grey, Scotrail, 80's LMS livery with Yellow end & EWS that I can think off, and no doubt there are others. Wish I had the time and skill. Gordon have you any plans for another pack with these and maybe the later colours for the parcels stock and the coaches that lasted well? Have seen pics of the sleepers in BR Blue/Grey, BG's certainly made it to B/G then plain blue, although most lost their gangways when they went plain blue.

Well it seems, that matrix might have had D/Load problems.
But I bought my D/L via the Paypal window, which becomes available at checkout.
No-one has mentioned any problems with the MakingTracks web site. I decided to not only buy the P3 but also the Collett versions as well.
So once having placed both into the Paypal shopping cart, then paying for them. I then tried to D/L them. I got the Collett ones. But when I went to D/L the P3 was greeted with the message "Oops this order has been blocked!! - The IP address you originally used to download this product has changed, therefore your order has been blocked from any further D/L for a period of 12hrs"
Anyone had this or know what it's about, i.e Ive had, to the best of my knowledge the same IP address for at least 6yrs. I'm not very confident that even after a 12hour delay I'll get my goods

Also can anyone tell me where the scenario's from the Collett D/L can be found. RW Tools shows them as being installed in route 00000002 i.e Somerset Dorset joint Railway.
Well actually only one shows up 27cd17b2 - [Mt] Colletts_GWR, but I've gone goggle eyed trying to find this scenario on any of the menus, it's on the free roam tab.
As for the remaining 4 scenarios which are supposed to have been installed to the same route, they don't appear on either RWTools or any of the Railworks menus.

Not impressed.

Sorry for your problems John. Did you buy both the Collett's and the original P3 set from Making Tracks? Or buy the new P3 set from MatrixTrains? Not clear in your post. The MatrixTrains store seems to working properly now.

There was a problem with the Collett scenarios in the pack, so Making Tracks made them available as a separate free download. Go to the Making Tracks site and down on the bottom left of the main page is the download link to the working Collett scenarios.
Don't know why you got the IP changed message, never heard of that before. I have nothing to do with running their store. If the link to the P3's does not become available raise a support ticket with them on the Support Tab. If after that you still have problems PM me on this forum. I'll ensure you get the P3's one way or another.

Holzroller I'm intending to do a BR Blue era set plus some Departmentals. I'm having problems with research though, as to finding what Big Four stock made it to the Blue era. The Inspection Saloon, 42ft GUV, 1ST Class Sleeper and LNER Restaurant car are well documented. If anyone knows of a source of information on this I would be obliged.

Glad to hear it, the 6 wheeler stoves made it to blue. I have some pics at home in various books. There was a 42' GUV in departmental use at Aberdeen Ferryhill in the 80's, it was blue. Pretty sure I have some pics somewhere of a P3 brake third, now second in blue/grey as well. Will take a look when I get home this evening.

Hi Gordon,
seems MakingTracks aren't awake yet.

I'm more confused now, from your reply it would seem that there are two versions of Colletts available from making tracks. I could only see one which I've purchased (see attachments).

Just to clarify - I have purchased and D/L successfully. Your offering of "LMS P3 Stanier Extra's".
It is the Making tracks version "RW-LMS P3 Stanier Coaches" I'm going through this song and dance act over :-).
