I dont know why they have botherd with this when we have the just trains one. The Britannia or 9f would've been better.

Hi
I honestly can't see the point of DTG doing this loco, with the JT Trains one already out,and I think with the DTG you only get the 1 loco, where as the JT one you get them all+Hengist which is being built at Swanage

Just a note - Hengist has been removed from Swanage for some time now. I believe the project team are working from Ian Riley's base at Bury (although that may be subject to change also!)
Anyway, more details at their website:

Hi
I think either a good 9F or a Britannia, all regions had them at some stage, and some had different types of smoke deflectors.

Currently £3,99, another "upgraded" model, might be useful as AI.

Worth 4 quid for the mk1 sleepers alone. On that basis, downloading now,

I will get it as I did not have the original and at the price it is a bargain.

Re: Dovetail 6MT 'Clan' Class DLC
Hi,
I have just down loaded the DTG Clan seems a good loco and at £3.99 good value for money even £7.99 it's still good value, especially for me as I can by pressing the bell symbol run it in legacy mode, some thing I can't do with a lot of advanced models, and at least the Clan doesn't keep blowing off like the 9F does every few minutes.

Re: Dovetail 6MT 'Clan' Class DLC
Lovely - a new loco for the price of a pint. Am downloading now. Previously bought the half-price 9F - loved the prototype and WLOS is a great route - and thoroughly enjoyed it (at one and a half scenarios in). I see from the reviews that the 9F has taken a lot of stick - and I'm no expert - but, come one guys - hours of entertainment for less than it costs me to drive my car into town! if I were to whine, heaven forbid, the sound on the 9F is 'thin', the earth didn't move for me!
All the best,
Steve

Re: Dovetail 6MT 'Clan' Class DLC
I'm on a little break from route building at the moment and going through a steam/heritage Diesel phase (the look so at home on the Furness Line
) so for £3.99 it was a no brainer for me so I also added the discounted 9F. I don't actually mind replacing my old purchases with revamped stuff, especially when the price is reasonable.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it
Re: Dovetail 6MT 'Clan' Class DLC
Haha
ETA, at 3.99 I'll probably get this - good for any workshop scenarios
ETA2 - and with TS2016 on the horizon, DTG only have a few months to shift the "legacy portfolio" that they acquired. Shifting several year old models for an outgoing platform will be a hard sell after, say, June...
Apart from the 2/2T, 3/3T, 4/4 mogul / 4T & 5...!One of the smallest Standard Class locomotive, the 6MT, comes to Train Simulator in British Railways livery.
