After downloading the route, my installation of TS2015 loads/starts perfect as far as the menus, but I'm unable to load any route or scenario, no matter what type. TS2015 simply stops responding. Unzipping the AP files to their right locations and checking the route with RW tools revealed nothing, the route is perfect acording to RWTools.
I have a up-to-date back-up of everything, so no problem in doing a Steam verification, but not much fun in that  .
Something is rotten in the State of Denmark, but hopefully a file verification will solve the problem.

Regards Claus :)
Hi Claus - I had the same problem - I was lucky, must have been one of the 1st to d/load. After verify cache, I noted some additional d/load going on - after that everything worked perfectly - its a brilliant route

I am afraid it doesn't.

However, I am in the process of reskinning the Class 27 DLC's BSK into blue/grey to match the Mallaig extension stock,

That's good news. If you are reskinning the Cl.27 stock, did they not supply a BSK in the West Highland livery either?

Hi Ash,
My point is if I now want to download any more routes from Steam then my base game will automatically update from TS 2014 to TS 2015 whether I want it to or not.
I have a second copy of TS on my laptop which I have updated to TS 2015 but I'm not impressed, my main install is on my desktop which is still TS 2014.
If I download the new route WHL to my laptop which is TS 2015, which folders/files do I need to copy and transfer to my desktop PC in order to get it to run which is still TS 2014.
I hope I have made myself clear what I want to do.

Regards,
Pete.

Hi Pete

You would need to identify the route folder and copy it over then the asset folder which is probably under Assets/Thomson.
However, unfortunately I don't think it would work

Even though Steam is offline on your desktop with TS2014, it still keeps an offline record of what you had purchased up to the date you went offline, pre TS2015. Introducing folders and files which it doesn't recognise as purchased by you before you went offline will cause Steam into thinking it is an illegal copy of DLC and block use of the assets, even though the route and assets are legitimate on your other Steam program on your laptop.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Also as a secondary I wouldn't be surprised the route uses 2015 specific editor functions like resizing objects and custom shaped asset blocks.

Although this route doesn't work so far in my back-up of TS2014 with the scenarios supplied, Liverpool Manchester which I copied across works fine, and strangely enough, even though Steam.exe is blocked the steam client still updates, but most importantly 2014 doesn't. So I would say it is more an issue of something in this route requiring 2015 rather than a steam list of downloads that may be an issue. Hopefully going to have a little play later and see what it is.

No brake vehicle in green and cream, so I have done one of these as well. A BSK is technically incorrect as only BCK's received this livery if my mind serves me correctly, but the Guard has to sit somewhere:

Well of course it doesn't work. For one thing it's designed to work with the 2015 weather systems.
