Where to put downloaded Thumbnails

Post by woodman2709 »

I've just downloaded all the new thumbnails from Mikes' site but I cant work out where to put them so they show up when I'm using the Scenario Editor. I see reference to a RW_Tools\Thumbnails folder but I cant see one in my RW_Tools folder. I guess I'm being a bit thick here,if someone could explain where you put them I would be most appreciative.

If you don't have a RW_Tools\Thumbnails folder, then you just need to make one yourself. As this is a very basic Windows operation, you should not really be trying to run a program as complex as RW_Tools if you don't know how to make a new folder under Windows.

To make a new folder, open Windows Explorer, navigate to your RW_Tools folder, then from the Windows Explorer File menu select New/Folder. You will now see a new blank folder in the RW_Tools folder tree named 'New Folder', right click on it and select 'Rename' and change the name to Thumbnails.

You can then copy all of the thumbnails into it.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).

Thanks for that,it all works fine now.
Actualy I have been using RW_Tools for ages, and I think it's terrific, could,nt be without it now. I was just looking for a much more complicated solution than just doing what you said, Can't see the wood for the trees etc. Keep up the good work & thank for your help.
