Re: Hymek
Is this the model that was previously available from another developer or is it a completely new one?

Re: Hymek
Great news, a new Hymek will be a great addition! If they can get anywhere near Pauls' sounds and clag on that video it will be fantastic.

I hope so, as well as no doubt many others will, but you do realise that both these posts may well disappear as well as others asking that very question.growler37 wrote:Hi,i wonder if AP will release a soundpack![]()

...and was later updated to include a fully functional cab, and I believe made available as a stand alone product.rikrobson wrote:It will be an old model from the model mine that they took over. It was only part of a "western loco pack" before and had no cabview etc
I wouldn't set your hopes on the new incarnation being a wonderful simulation of an hydraulic, more just a tarted up re-release of the old one.

Not the case, but as always we will have to wait and see what comes.

Re: Hymek
Indeed it is I ... hope you enjoyed the clip....
The Hymek was performing so well on the first day that we ended up chasing it up and down the line and ignored the Western and Warship, it was such a beast ...throwing out all that clag!
As many of you will known, Hymeks, although visitors to the South West, were very rare beasts west of Newton Abbot.
But Hymeks did have a regular turn on Summer Saturdays in the early 70s were they worked the 0722 Worcester to Paignton and returned with the 1228 Paignton to Worcester, just an idea there for a Hymek based scenario on the Riviera line, not to mention the Oxford Padds...Huff!

Re: Hymek
I hope they remove the train air pipe from the model, as Hymeks were never dual braked... Still not a bad looking model, wish it was in BR Blue though...
