Not seen this previously mentioned anywhere else so not sure if it's something I'm doing or if it's a bug.
On a variety of stock now I have noticed my brakes are extremely slow to release (Often taking up to 10 minutes to achieve a full release). It appears irregular too with the same stock in the same scenario's working fine on another occasion. once the stock starts functioning this way It does not rectify and the only way to fix the problem appears to be to start the scenario from scratch.
The latest incarnation of this fault was with the class 92 with APs awesome sound pack installed. After an emergency stop (SPAD) I was unable to completely release the brakes. The brakes release so far and then stop releasing leaving a minuscule amount of pressure in the system giving the feeling of dragging brakes and a struggle to reach line speed (75mph)
Anyone any thoughts or experiences of this?

Compressor power may be set too low in the .bin file for your selected engine. From memory I know the class 444 suffers from this error. It is easy to fix using RWTools, by choosing a value which is higher.

On the Class 92 have you tried the M key Brake Overcharge? Similar requirement on the JT Class 60 Advanced.

Re: Dragging brakes/Brakes not fully releasing
Don't know if this is related but...
Today I installed a soundpack for the 153/158.
Went to play a scenario with a 153 and the brakes would not release at all.
Deleted the JT 153 files and replaced them with a back up copy.
Brakes now release perfectly - the only problem now is that - in cabview - the
sound comes and goes. It's all right outside the cab though.
Thinking it might be aliasing to the 158, I deleted those files too and replaced
them with back up copies. However, the 153 still suffers the same sound problem in-cab.
So now I don't know what to do.

This can happen if the emergency brake has applied during the scenario. It's an age old fault with train sim unfortunately.
