I'm nothing short of stunned... This is incredible work that puts RSC to shame.... can't believe this is one persons work... and it really shows what this game is capable of when the effort is put in 8)
Why couldn't the steam loco sit down? - Because he had a tender behind.

Stunning work. As others said, the use of different track ballast certainly makes a difference.

Judging by various posts that does not seem too hard. It is quality from what I've seen in the screen grabs. Its difficult to say whether some shots are screen grabs or photographs.

I don't know your plans for this but I urge you to release it commercially as opposed to free-ware. Your attention to detail is second to none.

Absolutely superb, I know much of the route well and it is instantly recogniseable. Seeing as you have included Hatton Junction and the junction at Tyseley what are the chances of you doing the 'North War wickshire Line' down through Shirley, Henley in Arden and on to Stratford? Keep up the very good work!

Thanks again guys for your interest and very kind words. This freeware route wouldn't be possible without the excellent freeware assets by people such as DPSimulation, 3dshedco and so many other talented creators.
Dinmore, the route you mention is entirely feasible but I have so much to complete before I start thinking about that one!
The route has taken a new turn - this time towards Coventry. Here's a couple from Stechford, utilizing the new OHLE tools..

Have a good weekend.

Pics looks superb 8)
Have you run a pantograph fitted UK loco under the catenary to check that its set at the correct height or have you manually adjusted it ?
The Catenary tools are currently broken and are spawning the wires and supports/Gantries at the wrong height .

Hi
This route is definitely on a par with commercial route,in fact it's far better than some commercial routes on offer

One of the best looking routes I've yet seen. Certainly has a sense of realism looking through the pics. Top work fella !!

Cheers guys.

Skoda, yep, thanks for the info re. the overheads. I've now manually adjusted each piece down by 1m but hopefully the update will surface some time soon.
Here are a few shots of Adderley Park - continuing with work towards Coventry and beyond (track work includes superelevation). I've noticed on this section that there are PRI signals - the good news is that there are some excellent ones in the library.
