Well the track blending is something I've been dying for a route to have for a long time. The trackwork is something that tends to get ignored when building a route and as such I highly approve of your efforts :)

Thank you Kev.

A few shots of some work I've been up to - Bescot Yard. My aim is to complete the line from Bescot to Daw Mill via Walsall - then join up the line from Washwood Heath to Daw Mill. I'd like to make the route more of a network for a bit of variety..

This next shot gives you a bit of an idea on how I route build - if I stumble across an asset I like I just plonk it down anywhere so I don't forget about it! V messy though..

Lastly, a shot of the more complete Saltley area - where I'm still experimenting with ballast blending...again..
Here you can see Lawley Street Freightliner Terminal in the background.

Thanks again Deltic009.

Work continues, this time around the Acocks Green area - the station to the south-east of Tyseley..

I've now reskinned a number of gravel trail lofts which gives quite a nice variety of ballast weathering....can recreate a number of different track states now.

Many thanks Bailey7802.

Just a couple of shots from the Bordesley area - looking towards Moor St. The two main lines are on the right with the Up and Down Small Heath goods line on the left.
Still tweaking away at track and surrounding ballast textures - comparing them at different times of day. Seems to work OK I think.

Cheers 31160.

Just one shot from Bordesley station. I've been doing a bit of reskinning of walls/signs etc to try and get some atmosphere into the area. Need to sort out that platform though.

Atmosphere at Bordesley, you'll be lucky, they can't even get any of that when the Blues are at home on a weekend (for the record I support neither major Birmingham team).

Good point Deltic!
Just a couple of shots from work done around the same general area - including getting some graffiti onto those walls..

Hats off to you

I haven't played the game myself for about 9 months now after I lost interest. Mostly because of the cost, lack of time etc. This however is amazing. I am familiar with the area and each asset you have used suits how it appears in real life. I don't know where you are planning to do it to, but it is very good. Well done and keep up the stunning work up.

Thanks Toby.

Here are a few WIP shots of the various junctions east of New St. Please bear in mind that this area is still a bit of a construction site at the moment (the OHLE especially ). I do plan to give the track a makeover here as well.

Working on this area gives me the urge to continue onto Cov/Rugby. That's the thing with this area, the scope for extension is immense. Shame these things take so long to build!
