A very useful addition Mike. Thank you. It considerably speeds up the game load time. Briliant

Just a small point to note for users of Norton Internet Security, the SONAR scan identifies storethem.exe as a risk and removes it (at least on my system). If it does this, add storethem.exe as an exclusion and request that this is not flagged in future scans.

Yes, Norton doesn't seem to like Mike's programmes, but judging by his previous posts the feeling is mutual!atlasduff47 wrote:Just a small point to note for users of Norton Internet Security, the SONAR scan identifies storethem.exe as a risk and removes it (at least on my system). Nice, a small bug. If you do not set the TS folder properly you get an error screen. Then the program keeps displaying this screen every time you close it, effectively making the program hang.

Proving to be very useful - already got 3 Route folders down to 2.

Re: A 'TrainStore' like utility for TS2014
For those users who requested that the 'StoreA' and 'StoreC' folders be placed on a 2nd drive, although this could be done, the program would have to use a 'Copy' type command rather than 'Move', which would mean that the when using 'Store All' it would take several hours to Copy all of the files to the 2nd drive, and even quite a long time to Copy them back.
However, I can see that this might be useful for those who installed TS2014 on a SSD in the first place and now find it does not fit, so will test this and see what I can do, but I would not recommend it for most users...

Hi Mike,
Did you see my earlier bug report regarding the "List all .ap files" Tab?
What is happening is that if I click on the "List all .ap files" Tab the list of files will be duplicated for each time I visit that Tab within the session. I have to completely exit the program to reset the list.
Cheers,
Trevor

Would like to thank Mike for this as I found that my assets folder got too cluttered and the quick drive consist creator wasn't working due to it so thanks

Re: A 'TrainStore' like utility for TS2014
I have posted a new version on my site v1.0.27 with a number of changes:-
a. Added menu option on start screen to select an alternative folder for storing Routes/Assets outside of the Railworks folder. Must be on same drive as Railworks. (The program I have can't move files across drives)
b. Changed the option to list .ap files so that it only lists Route and Scenario .ap files
c. Changed the button on the list .ap files so that only one click is required to extract all RouteProperties.xml and ScenarioProperties.xml files.
d. Fixed a few small bugs and added extra error trapping.

Mike a great utility this sim has long needed. Thanks. Unfortunately I have found that on restore sometimes not all assets are passed across and it means manually placing the missing items.

Are the missing assets not passed back when you click 'Restore All', or when you click 'Restore Selected' - or is this when you are restoring a single route and you are still missing some assets?
An example of exactly what is happening will help.
Thanks - Mike

Re: A 'TrainStore' like utility for TS2014
Hi Mike
I restore ECML London to Peterbrough try to run APC60P Ferne Park to Croft scenario. TS cuts to black screen. RWTools shows AP JHA and JT JJA stock missing. Check store and missing asset folders are in the store as they should be. So physically move the folders across and scenario will run. Further test restore all routes and assets, RWTools says no stock missing and scenario plays.
It has happened on other routes. I waited till this morning to reply as I wanted to replicate a specific instance with a clear head and computer. Obviously no one else has experienced this which makes it seem rather weird.
Best Wishes
Richard
