Workshop subscriptions don't work now

Post by JLD95 »

Hi,
I just remark that Workshop subscriptions don't work now: no subscribed items is displayed and new subscribed items via web are not visible in scenario list.

It's my install or it's TS2014 update ?

I've not tried to get any workshop content after the update yet but all my existing subscribed workshop content is still showing so it's possibly a fault with your installation rather than the update.

All my workshop stuff is working fine, it could suggest your install, or at least your install of the update. Have you tried a verify?

Same for me. I posted about this very issue earlier.

I have just subscribed a scenario for the Riviera Line, going through the Collection menu to get to the Workshop screen. The green button on the thumbnail image does not appear to work but the large, green subscribe button on the item's screen did. It took a bit longer than before for the list of available subscriptions to stabilise back in the game's menu but the new run was there and started for me using the Next button.

Further to my earlier post I've now subscribed to a workshop scenario and it shows up in the list of scenarios for the route. As far as I can see the update hasn't altered anything regarding workshop content on my setup.

It is not your installation. Same for me. I have old Workshop ítems but I can´t add new ones and the "Collection/Workshop subscriptions" page is dead.

No items appear in mine, and I also cannot add new items. How can it be an installation problem as the installation is what it is. Nothing has changed, same directory, structure and so on. Thanks again, Steam.

Best,

Mine appears to be fine I am showing only the 9 which I originally subscribed too, and all work fine. With the number of people that are having problems with there's, make me wonder if I had the update (now showing v42.4a) or if I'm just one of the lucky ones who've had a trouble free update.

I've downloaded a few over the last two days and they all seem to work for me.
The only problem I've had is that some initially report missing trains, but if I hit F2 and "save", they then work.

Hi,

Everything appeared to be working fine after the update patch but when I read this thread I took a look at my workshop subs page and it's dead? Nothing shown at all when before I had about a page and a half worth of scenarios downloaded. Most of them I can find within the particular routes listed with the normal scenarios and indeed got one of them to run.
I did a 'Verify' and had the usual 20.3 Mb worth of files redownloaded (Nothing changed there!) 'Cleared the cache' and restarted and still the Workshop Subs page is showing blank. I tried to download a new scenario for my 'NEC' route but it is not shown anywhere. So the bottom line is, I still have most of my original workshop downloads albeit I have to hunt around for them in the relevant route lists but I cannot now download any new workshop scenarios until the next great fix/update. Well done DTG.

Hi
Not really on topic, but it concerns the Workshop,on my very few excursions into the Workshop,my AV(Malwarebytes) reported a suspect Trojan infection and deleted the file,It also found Tracking Cookies, the Trojan I put down to a false positive, the Tracking Cookies, Well, I,m not so sure.
I found a post on another forum reporting the same, using another AV,so care is needed out there,i guess its good practice to scan anything that you are going to allow access to your PC.
