Creating log train on the riviera line

Post by 37180sirdyfed »

I've created a scenario on the Bristol/Exeter route using a class 66 and "just trains"cargo wagons. The scenario performs well with no issues. I then created a scenario on the riviera line, continuing from Exeter to teigngrace using the same consist. At first Everything looked well from within the scenario editor, how when loading the scenario to 'play' the game crashes and creates a dmp file. I can no longer load the scenario in editor mode without it crashing too.
Could it be a bug within the riviera line, or should I turn down my settings? I seem to encounter this problem when creating a long consist player train. Thanks in advance for any tips!

I think your issue with the Riviera line could be down to the Just Trains IGA wagons. They use couplings that are located in the Kuju/RailSimulator folder, which need to be activated in the scenario editor provider list. IIRC, Bristol - Exeter has this ticked by default, but I don't think it is active on the Riviera Line.

Yes, as malky says you need to tick Kuju in the asset provider flyout before you try placing these (and many other) wagons on the Riviera Line using editor.
You may need to remove the offending wagons with RW Tools because, from experience here, the editor wont let you back in to your work until you do. Once removed you'll be able to get back in. Tick Kuju and replace your cargowaggons and save your work and all should be well..
Good Luck
