I don't know about editcamera001.bin but I will look for that tonight, should I delete it ?

The logmate report says it can't find it, or at least the blueprint set for it so deleting it if it is there isn't moving in the right direction.
If you do have it in that location we can then see what it's calling for and make sure those files exixt.

I've just opened the file with RW_Tools, and as far as I can see it doesn't call any other files - it appears to just set the speed with which you can move the camera around.

After reading this I'm 805% sure it's Catalyst Drivers issue for Win8 x64 maybe x32

Thanks I think I have solved the issue, tried everything booting into safe mode, clean boot, installed updates, verified cache files but to no avail...

The problem I think was when I installed the very latest beta AMD Drivers during setup they gave an error saying windows installer has stopped working msixec.exe something like that but the setup completed successfully (This always happened since a long ago whenever I tried to install drivers) anyway I installed windows 8.1 with update 1 and updated it installed 13.9 AMD drivers , installed nvidia physyx, while dotnet and vcredist, flashplayer refused to install as they were already installed in the new OS.. no worry...

The game ran fine but the again after updating to the latest beta AMD drivers and moving the game folder to another location the same thing started to happen again... then I uninstalled VCREDIST 2008 and 2010 (which may came with new drivers?) and finally set the entire game folder permission to full access by my username ...

Now Violah... Thanks everyone for help it may come handy to many.... Problem solved....

If you'd have mentioned installation issues earlier you may have received more appropriate help--there's something fundamentally *wrong* with your system if you can't install drivers, even Beta ones will have been tested to make sure they work.
msiexec is the applet that installs Microsoft Software Insataller packages, the *officially* supported and approved method of installing programs under Windows and is used by the UKTS Freepacks available here at UKTS.

It's wiser to just change one thing at a time, particularly system changes (new driver) and reorganisation of filing system (moving the game) as then in the event of an issue you're not guessing as much.

It'd be worthwhile taking ownership of the folders/files, then new files inherit the full set of permissions.

Now the problem is back now it says crashed because of msvcr100.dll even though everything is installed. This is the first game which I failed to run in my life. I think it has issues with Windows 8 / amd cards as many ppl are failed to run this.

I do not see any issues with win 8, Win 8.1, Win 8 upd 1 in TS2014.
Did you try ANY of the diagnostic files/repairs I listed above???????
IMHO this is a Windows issue not a TS2014 issue.

Exception Code: c0000005 is an access error, your PC is trying to read or write from/to a protected memory area. Run the DX diagnostics as suggested by Peter and see if that throws anything up.

You say you reinstalled windows and still got the above crash?
Did you do a clean install of TS2014 or copy it from a backup?
You can get that type of error from an add-on to TS2014, scenario, edits, etc - hence the question.
The cx0000005 error can also mean that the code is loaded into the VAS/OS but has failed to load into the RAM for some reason.

I installed a fresh copy ..... It's just pure bad luck. I guess. the game loads for few secs and then crashes......

Have you run sfc /scannow on the new Win * installed and confirm that the latter is Win 8.1 Update 1?
Looking at the error again BEX and "stackhash" this could be a DEP error which sometimes occurs in Windows:

5. Select the “Data Execution Prevention” tab.
6. Select the option which reads “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select”

8. Click Apply or OK to commit your changes.

or you could force DEP off with a command line ie use cmd.exe as an administrator: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

Tried the DEX method via windows but it says the exe can't be added..... and I'm not on update 1 yet... just windows 8.1... Also tried SFC with admin rights no luck.

is it essential to install update 1 ?
