I have bought & run the MEPlus ver. 1.0 CD & am delighted to be back to this extended version of the groundbreaking Mid East route.
There are an amazing number of good activities & this CD offers fantastic value for money.
However, I seem to have a problem with trackway and roadway across many overpasses & bridges.
Typically, the two rails are suspended in mid-air with no underpinning ballast. Bridges seem in many cases to have no similar underpinning steelwork or roadway.
Is this a problem particular to my installation ? If it is, a reinstallation of the CD has not helped. Or is this a fault requiring possible update ? I don't seem to see any such possible updates anywhere.

Are you able to post a pic or post details of a location so others could check? (I can't personally as haven't got the route.)Geoffwright wrote:I have bought & run the MEPlus ver. 1.0 CD & am delighted to be back to this extended version of the groundbreaking Mid East route.

Normally if I see rails on a bridge with no ballast on my route, it's because I forgot to tick the box to make it a terrain object, when I placed it.
But then settings could be another reason.

Re: MidEast Plus
Geoff this may well be a settings issue. I've not encountered the phenomenon throughout the development and testing of the route myself, nor have I heard mention of it from any other team members. Have you got your sliders up full in your msts settings?
Regards, Dave

Hi Geoff,
Try turning slider down from best graphics to best prformance, then go to advance and turn off shadows, dynamic shadows, high details shadows, spectacular lighting.
Turn down from 10 to 9 world objects density, make sure there is X in textured sky and X in water,as there is no overhead wiring in the route you can uncheck wires also there are no distant mountains in the area MEP covers so you can uncheck that as well.
I have a lousy mid end lap top and with these settings I don't get any thing missing and fairly good frame rates between 20-40 fps, except round Kings Cross to Hornsey then it's about 10 fps
MEP+ is a very resourse intensive route.

That was it, Dave. Default settings from CD didn't have everything maxed - have done that & it seems all is well. Car spawner is now working, too. That's a bonus !

Re: MidEast Plus
Hi Geoff,
I suggest that, when you installed MEP, they were the settings of your default MSTS setup. I believe they are duplicated into any Mini-Route you install.
Cheers,
Ged

Yes, that seems logical.
Thanks for your help, chaps.
