Not sure how that works... There are other routes with bugs that we have put up with for ages, and Riviera Line is relatively new??

At the moment all I've seen in the last two months since they announced that they're looking into fixing issues is mostly words. What is annoying about many of the bugs is they're quick and easy fixes. Fixes that should of been fixed a long time ago.

Should have, talking of easy fixes (sorry it is a personal bugbear).

I have been keeping an eye out for any fixes but still waiting. I sent a ticket regarding an issue I sometimes get on the 'Riviera Line' as I thought that might be one of the first to be patched but still nothing. Indeed, as already pointed out by some, most fixes are relatively quick ones and that is what annoys most people as it shouldn't take them that long to put right by their ' bug fixing team'.

Hmm, I was thinking about this yesterday. RSC made a big fanfare announcement about their exciting new initiative to bug fix and spruce up certain products that are lacking. Well that was several weeks ago and there's not been a dicky bird since?

They're probably still trying to figure out how to move a bridge to the right to fix part of GEML ;)

Interesting comments from you all and prove the point. There's so many quick and easy fixes to be had. As an example it would take no more than 20 minutes (I know as I've done it myself) to fix the over sensitive key issue with the 33. Come on DTG/RSC you really need to be sorting this basic stuff out and start earning some brownie points from those that have made you the success you are.

When people refer to bugs in TS, do they mean something that doesn't work/doesn't work as it should, or do they mean missing bits of scenery (quite a few in WCML over Shap for example, or maybe even both?
And would DT games really want everyone (who can be bothered) to email such details.
Would seem sensible to have a central referring point - like where we can list any bugs we players find and then pass that onto DT periodically. Don't know who/where such central point would be though.

Running TS @ 3840x2160 on a 4k TV.

If the items are missing due to a mistake, then I would consider it a bug. Lots of routes have missing scenery but that's just due to the fact that it would take a very long time to get everything exactly right, as well as to make the custom assets :)

I'd say we need to decide on the definition of 'bug'
If you subscribe to the technical (and historical) definition then 'bugs' are very difficult to track down, as they often appear to be totally random and are at a programming level rather than being mistakes or omissions.

Probably more relevant is what DTG's 'Technical Content and bug-fixing team' class as a bug. If we knew that then we'd all be singing from the same hymn sheet and could shape our expectations accordingly.

When I refer to 'bugs' I mean things that don't work as they should or are faulty. Couple of examples, the horn on the Class 377, press it and you get silence! When I drive the same class, namely the FCC blue, it works as it should and makes a nice change. The other 'bug' I am thinking of is the brake gauge on the Class143 DMU (On the Riviera Line) where sometimes it sticks and therefore prevents you from moving till it releases albeit slowly, disastrous for a CS as you incurr penalties and isn't worth carrying on.

The 377 sound pack from AP fixes the horn and the rail clacking sound.
