Class 92 Names
The Class 92 has the options to change the loco number, name and livery.
Double clicking on the loco number in the editor brings a flyout where the number is shown as 92001ABCD and it's the letters that give the loco the Large EWS logo on the body side and change the loco name.
But I've not seen a list of what the 4 letters do.
Any ideas?
Peter

If you have a look in RailWorks\Assets\RSC\Class92Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\Class92\Default\Engine\Textures it seems the letters a-z and A-T are the ones to use for names(famous Authors and Composers), and U-Z change the logo.

I had a look but just found a run of TGPCDX files numbered 01 to 46 but I did not see any list of names.eyore wrote:If you have a look in RailWorks\Assets\RSC\Class92Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\Class92\Default\Engine\Textures it seems the letters a-z and A-T are the ones to use for names(famous Authors and Composers), and U-Z change the logo.

As you can't find the names yourself what makes you sure that those listed in the database are the ones included in the pack.

Re: Class 92 Names
The letters you type in for nameplates correspond to numbers in the Class92_Digits.bin file; for example if you type in 'b' it's read as '2' in the .bin file (H.G Wells so that's one now known

The files Textures\01.TgPcDx through 46.TgPcDx are the loco names - you can view these in RW_Tools using the Graphics Tools\TgPcDx-DDS Viewer as under

749006,
The names and numbers included in the pack are definately as those listed by me in gptech's post above ( with the exception of 92046 Sweelinck , which I missed from my original post)
The names , numbers, liveries and depots listed in my post above are the "current " real life ones ( not sure how up to date it is ) as listed by abrail.co.uk.
Also if you see the postings in this forum under "Class 92 on Sale, Page 11" you will see that clever people have discovered that the mysterious 4th letter of the loco code ( Z or Y ) controls( or rather can be made to control ) the hidden "SNCF" branding.
Hope this helps.

No, you didd't say they were used in the pack...but as the question you replied to was "Do we have a list of the names / numbers included?" it was something of a 'none-answer'. Without knowing what is in the pack, knowing what the real life names are is of no use---you need to know what you have before you can change anything!749006 wrote:I did not say these were the names used in the pack.
