Sorry to say that I got as far as getting the Loco going at speed and then making the first Brake application before turning the whole thing off in utter dissapointment.
I cannot believe that this has been passed on as a representation of a Class 92. The whole thing is riddled with operational errors right from the point of unlocking the Desk, the Speed Set is completely inaccurate and thats just for starters. I dont expect perfection being a sim but at least ask the right people (yes there are some on this Forum) for help or guidance who actually know about these things and are able to help ..........before releasing onto the Public. The Beta tester obviously has no actual knowledge of a Class 92 and the errors cant all be passed on as the limits of the Sim. This posting may offend but a great opertunity to produce a very worth while Class 92 has been lost in my view.

Very dissapointed indeed.

Well I was going to buy this today as the build looks very good, but going off the comments on here the sounds are as bad as the 91 set so I think I will wait for a sale and use the money saved to pass on to AP then I will have a great model (as it looks very good) and fantastic sound set as sounds are everything as far as I am concerned.

Seems the majority of the fleet are represented

I've spent £4.99 on the latest AP Soundpack, 1980's Riviera, instead. Several hours of proper BR diesel loco thrash in South Devon will be the main distraction in my life for the foreseeable.

Your opinion is a fact. This is a disgrace and I would urge people to not buy this product. I feel like I've been mugged.

Thanks guys for warning some of us that this is a poor release. Won't be buying till all bugs fixed and till AP adds his magic.

I wouldn't waste your money even then unless the bugs are fixed and a self accelerating loco is a massive, massive bug.

This is disappointing, if not terribly surprising, news. Another one to add to the maybe list. It's such a shame they take the time to make nice models, then don't finish them.....

Just to add that the main points and features that need fixing can no doubt be corrected. Personally I am annoyed that the producers appear to have just cobbled this together and put it out. I have been an Instructor on these Locos for 12 years and was offered to Beta Test this Loco after providing information. Then it was released! This situation in which many customers will be put off or disappointed was avoidable!

Yyyyamst - would it be realistic to switch from OHL to 3rd Rail without stopping? I just did a run on London-Faversham and swapped over "on the move", now I now Eurostar did, but not sure if a 92 would?

That's correct as you have described and applies to 92s. System Change overs are normally done on the move, ie BRAC to 3rd Rail. There are designated System Changeover locations fitted with OHL and 3rd Rail with speed restrictions in place. Needs the Driver to be on the Ball. (Open VCB, Enable switch to zero to drop Pan, system changeover switch to DC, Enable switch to position 1, watch screen for message "waiting for VCB/HSCB reset".
3rd Rail to BR AC works in reverse. Could be accurately built into the sim.
