Good afternoon everyone
I wonder if anyone can advise about the following
Today I have tried creating a free roam scenario using Just Trains Class 20 on the Settle Carlisle
I created the scenario going via the build menu and create new scenario
As soon as I have placed a class 20 and a few of the maroon coaches then save ...the problem starts
The minute I click my mouse on the loco I hear the windows ping sound and the sim hangs creating a dump file
I have tried different starting points with the same result each time
Where am I going wrong?
Thanks in advance
Kind regards Stephen

Hi Stephen, make sure the kuju box is ticked in the asset editor providers list.

Re: TS2014 Crashes When Creating Free Roam Scenario
Good morning
I'm having another problem creating a free roam scenario using DTs Class 40
I have selected DT as the asset provider and Kuju
However the moment I select a DT MK1 coach or any other Mk1 and attach it to the Class 40 the sim hangs creating a dump file
Am I missing another dependency from the assets selection?
I have also tried selecting AP as I have the AP Class 40 sounds
Thanks in advance
Kind regards Stephen

Re: TS2014 Crashes When Creating Free Roam Scenario
When you select the provider you also have to select a product. I assume when you say you have selected Kuju you mean Kuju\RailSimulator, but I suspect you may have selected the wrong DT combination - for the Mark 1 coaches you need to tick DT\DT_MK1_coaches rather than DT\Addon.stephenholmes wrote:I have selected DT as the asset provider and Kuju
If you have RW_Tools you can always check which provider\product pairs need to be ticked by using the Asset Editor. Navigate to the folder that the rolling stock item is in, check the Rolling Stock Only box, and click on Add to list. Once the list has been created, click on the item you want to use and select Check Assets and then Show Files Used by Loco or Show Files Used by Wagon. You can then see all the files used.
Alternatively, the manual might tell you what you need to select, but I can't see anything about this in DT's manual for the Mark 1s - I've not checked if any of the reskins tell you what to do.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558
Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Re: TS2014 Crashes When Creating Free Roam Scenario
Good evening Alan
Thank you for your reply
I had ticked the specific coaches DT MK1s in the asset provider and Kuju Rail Simulator
I have just tried an experiment I deliberately placed the coaches but left the Class 40 detached
I saved the scenario and then carefully drove the loco in reverse coupling to the coaches that worked and I was able to resume passenger duties
Was a fix ever released for the DT tail lamp to be attached to the rear instead of the wrong end?
Flipping the carriage doesn't solve the problem
Kind regards Stephen
