Just a quick one: Would it be possible to use reskins for the Class 66 Freightliner with the Powerhaul Class 66, and just replace the texture files manually? They look pretty much exactly the same other than the liveries, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Would it also be possible to just copy the texture files for the Freightliner livery and use them as another livery for the Powerhaul Class 66?

The only way to know for certain is to give it a go.

I would think the texture mapping is near identical, except maybe one or two little bits for the different lights. Unless they had to adjust the mapping for the Powerhaul livery.

Matt, pick a re-skin and post it's file number...see if a few are willing to have a look at the same one.

Thanks for the replies both of you. I'll have a go at putting this reskin on the Powerhaul later: http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=30547
I'm not very experienced with this stuff however, so it'll probably go wrong x)

A quick test to see what you're up against would be to rename the Powerhaul's texture folder; textures-Default for example. Then use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the textures folder from the resin. Pop this into the Powerhaul folder and see what it looks like in game. You'd get an idea then of whether it's worth really going to town with it.
