AP35 + AP36 weather

Post by Mr395008 »

Hello,

I've downloaded these two scenario packs and noticed there is some pretty awesome weather patterns included with them. How can you create these weather patterns? Really interested in the fog ones.

Just an example, I've found this video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBQmMXbIq1o) How has the user managed to get a full on Thunderstorm?

Thanks
Johnny

For thunderstorms you require scripting and weather extensions which you can trigger at certain times. It calls on various things like audio for the thunder.

Making standard weather blueprints is easy, especially with the blueprint editor. If you google Railworks dev tools (I think) you will find the old dev documents which have a guide on how to make weather blueprints.

I learnt a lot of it through experimentation and the dev documents.
