"Eviction Notice" Malware

Post by rufuskins »

Out of interest has anyone else received this malware which apparently contains an attachment detailing an eviction notice. Thankfully it gets picked up in my Spam area, which I delete. From what I can pick up off the internet opening the attachment opens up a number of viruses/virii.
Obviously in the real world a notice such as this would come through snail mail, but even so upon first sight it's a little disconcerting.

I've had similar recently headed rent arrears, Court appearances etc: Seems people are trying different tactics in getting people to download e-mail attachments, Best way is if you're not expecting it then don't open it, As you say all the nasty stuff comes by snail mail minus the viruses

Good afternoon Alec
Whilst I have not received these
I never ever open unsolicited e mails or attachments
Spammers in my opinion should have the book thrown at them
Kind regards Stephen
