This, Stainmore plus other steamy things to come. The Scot looks impressive.

Last week I was getting all concerned about how TS2014 was getting far too modern for me. I need not have worried it seems 8)

Excellent work on the Royal Scot chaps.

A big thank you SSS for announcing this week their intention to plug two holes in my ex-LMS wishlist (Royal Scot and 4MT)!

In fact, it seems that most of the ex-LMS types that survived in some numbers into the sixties have now been done in one way or the other, with one obvious exception: the Stanier/Fairburn 2-6-4T's (and maybe the Super-D and ex-Caledonian 0-6-0's).

Seeing the impressive list of LMS engines that have already been produced over the years I have little reason to complain. Of course, the picture is a bit different for the other Big Four companies....

Here is progress as of this very evening!

Tom is building 46115 Scots Guardsman as the base model and all the others will follow. Here's a run down of expected pack contents:

- 46115 Scots Guardsman in current mainline condition
- 6115 Scots Guardsman in LMS Black
- 6100 Royal Scot in LMS Crimson Lake
- 46100 Royal Scot in BR Maroon
- BR Green steam era model with dynamic names and numbers

We're working on supplying as many of the names as possible. Please note that all of the above is subject to change.

Very nice.

As an aside, looking at this and a couple of recent Everything Steam screenshots reminds me that no two developers seem to produce the same shade of late BR Green (or GWR Green, for that matter). Makes for some odd-looking double headers.

This is of course a very subjective matter and much affected by lighting and shader choice, but for me DT's rebuilt Bulleid Pacific gets the BR green colour most nearly right.

The Royal Scot still has a matt finish at the moment, a little shine can change things a great deal.
BR green is a bit of a minefield, there are endless debates on model railway forums. When researching this for a repaint a while ago I found someone who had taken an original BR Green paint sample to a specialist for testing, the conclusion was that if you wanted a current commercially available paint to represent this colour, then Land Rover green was the nearest match.
There are several Land Rover greens but I think he meant this Deep Bronze Green.
I would imagine the Royal Scot colour will be tweaked a bit when finished and in game.

Looking very promising!! (I hope they tone down the shiny wheel rims though)

Did someone mention Stainmore...? I've been off the grid a while.
