Broken Track on WLoS.

Post by ed123 »

Hello everyone,
I've been playing TS2014 for some time now and I quite enjoy the WLoS route but I recently discovered a problem. I went to play the Milk and Cookies scenario and found that the track at the Canal Junction box was broken in a few places. I have no experience with the editor, so some help fixing this would be of great help.

Which track, how 'near' the box and what do you mean by 'broken'? Could you take a screen shot?

There was an issue with the track looking broken near pointwork due to how super elevation works, but this was/is only visual---you can still drive over it. I can't find the thread where it was discussed, but I'll keep looking or somebody else will chip in with a link.

That's exactly what gptech is on about in the post above. It's 'normal', at least for now.. Something we have to deal with.

The original thread degenerated, but it's a long standing issue---bottom line is you either have super elevation and live with a small number of track *defects* or lose SE and gain smoother looking track in those few locations.
http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 5#p1631317 starts the ball rolling.

Personally I'd retain the SE, when driving the mis-match is hardly noticable---or at least isn't if you're giving the driving your full attention (as we all do 'cos we're professional amateur train drivers  )
