Hi there,
I seem to have problems getting past these whenever I've extended a route beyond those that came with a route, in this case, the EandG route.
When I try to create a scenario from within my extension of the route, which leads back onto and into the original route, and try to specify a destination within the original route, I can't get past the portals that marked the extent of the original route.
Am I missing something about the way these portals work or are implemented? Is there something I need to do with them, e.g. Remove them? Might the Track Rule applicant at the portal, in some way, affect what I need to do?
Any help or advice would be most appreciated.
Thank You..................Andy..........

Double check where your route starts and the original route ends and make sure the tracks are welded properly.
Apart from that I can't think what else would be causing it.

Thank you for you reply T3R.
I've checked what you suggested and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong.
Interestingly however, if I put the consist on the original route, just clear of the portal, I have no problem creating a path to wherever I want to go in my extension of the original route, I.e. I can get through the portal from the inside out, but not vice versa.
Furthermore, I have also established that if I try to create a path from the same consist, heading deeper into the original route, it doesn't get anywhere either, the same as if it were placed out on my extension side of the portal. This leads me to suspect that the problem has nothing to do with the portal.
I must explore this situation from some other angle by the look of it, but not tonight.
Thanks again..................Andy.....

No wanting to be over-simplistic but have you double checked line type and directionality?
Try deleting the portals and if that makes no difference you can rule them out of the equation.
