Southern S & D, Broadstone to Templecoombe. and Bournemouth

Post by antonyperks »

Reached Bournemouth, loads more to do, but I have been good with the assets not too much needed...............yet.

I now have track in place from Henstridge in the north all the way to bournemouth, Branksome shed and triangle and all S & D Stations between, just not added the southern ones yet, apart from Brodstone.

Nicely done Tony
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

A little more progress:

If anyone would like to help, with maybe adding in some scenery, or perhaps with some station signs that would be appreciated, or even just photos of the various stations that have not been seen before.

Looking good. :D

Had a look through some books earlier to see whether I could find anything on Bournemouth for you, but alas, there was nothing that you obviously haven't already got covered.

A few years ago I wanted to build a route from Bournemouth West, in the 1950's. I never got to do it. However, I was offered a model of Bournemouth West station. I still have it. It needs conversion for use in TS, from MSTS. If I can scratch the appropriate backs and twiddle some knobs, would you like it???

Just been having a bit of a drive: An 8F with a 8 coach train from Branksome to Blandford, was a bit short of steam approaching Broadstone, up the 1 in 75, it took me 32 Mins for the whole trip.

Looking great Tony! Don't forget, the Bournemouth area is famous for pine trees!! You may not be in a pine tree section, in that screenshot. Just thought I'd mention it!

Is this file helpful to you?

I believe the model is the whole station. I can't confirm though, at the moment. I'll get back to you on that ASAP.
