I assume you know about the 'Railwave' DMU sound package right ?
If you do not have it, I can recommend it no end, its sounds great for the more modern stuff.
Would be nice to have some generic 1st Gen DMU sounds though.

Just 1 point, not sure of the relationship of the fact the khia is the wrong gauge to the sounds...

I think the Railwaves sound package is well worth the money!!! Their 150 sound package has brought my modern DMU activities to life!!

1st Generation DMU sounds.

Post by bristolian »

Hello all, if anybody has heard the 101ig unit on BVE, they'll not fail to be impressed. Excellent engine idle and window rattle sounds, and the rise in pitch of the transmission and gearbox whine is as authentic as you can get. The Cravens sounds on Mid-East don't hold a candle to the BVE 101ig unit (Sorry Mid-East creator, just giving MY opinion - your route is EXCELLENT!).
Is there any way that the sounds can be translated for MSTS (with the owner's permission of course?)
Best wishes, Bob.

If ya like !

Its not very wide, less so than the others in this thread alone, I thought width was the real big problem ?

But if people think it too big I am happy to go with the flow and shrink it a bit.
